Phyllis Jean Caldwell Poff, 68, of Radford, went to be with the Lord April 12, 2024.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Charles Emmett Caldwell, Sr., her mother, Patsy Ann Caldwell, and sister, Carolyn Graves.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica Noble (Tom); son, Brent Sears; sister, Linda Hinkley; brother, Charles Caldwell, Jr; grandchildren, Alicia, James, Billie, and Timothy; and many nieces and nephews. Jean was born Nov. 5, 1955. After graduating from Christiansburg High School, she began working for the law offices of Gillis, Whitehurst, and Obenchain. She also worked for 7-Q radio station in Christiansburg. Later, she worked in telecommunications at Radford University. She worked at numerous places before retiring from Wilco in Radford. After retiring, she became an avid online gamer. She had a large following who honored her with several posts from the online gaming community.
A memorial service will be held today, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 4 p.m. with a visitation from 3- 4 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
