Betty Connolly Pettit, 85, of Radford, passed Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and retired from teaching.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Elizabeth Connolly; and her husband, John Melville Pettit.
Survivors include her daughter, Anne Pettit and son, John Pettit; brother, Jack Connolly; brother-in-law, Tom Pettit; niece, Mary Pat Clark; and many other nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Radford with Father Charles Ssebalamu officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Montgomery County Humane Society.
The Pettit family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
