Each Saturday the paper features a dog and a cat from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center (480 Cinnabar Road, Christiansburg).
Tinker was brought to the Center after her owner passed away. She is a quiet and calm kitty who is slowly coming out of her shell. Tinker is housetrained, and she gets along with other cats, dogs, and humans big and small. She is quite possibly the ideal pet. All she needs is a furever home. Visit Tinker at the center and you could find your purrfect match!
Now that the temperatures are a little cooler and we’re nearing the close of Adopt-A-Senior-Pet Month, how about some Cocoa? She is a Lab-Chow Chow mix who has been a resident at the Animal Care and Adoption Center since September. At an estimated 10-12 years young, she enjoys running zoomies, so her ideal future home would have a yard. She also would do best where she is the only pet. Stop by the center to meet her. You may find that Cocoa warms your heart!
