The animals of the week are from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center. Each Saturday the News Messenger will feature a dog and cat from the facility available for adoption. Ellie (almost four years old) is a beautiful brown tabby who has been at the center since July. She is particular with other cats and dogs and tends to be cautious around children. She loves being outside and is best suited for a farm-like setting where she can use her hunting skills.
