The pets-of-the-week come from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center. Each Saturday the Radford News Journal features a dog and cat from the facility available for adoption. This little green-eyed gal weighs in at five lbs. and is likely to remain slender and petite. Folks at the Animal Care and Adoption Center describe her as a “purr machine.” Mittens is litter box trained and has had some of her vaccinations. She’s ready to pack up her favorite mouse toy and go to her furever home.Melt away Oso’s, 3, snowman exterior and you’ll find a brown and white canine who has been a resident of the Animal Care and Adoption Center since May. Oso was brought to the center for not getting along with another male dog in his home. When he’s taken out on walks, he’s great company. He also doesn’t mind being a little silly and getting dressed up for the fun of it! Oso is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and his adoption fee is only $10.
