When first meeting Mittens, she may be a little timid, but once comfortable, a few chin scratches will earn her trust. She likes attention and affection. This kitty prefers indoor competitions and earned her gold medals in lounging and getting along with dogs and cats. (Be sure to ask for Mittens 2, if you stop by the Animal Care and Adoption Center to meet her, since there is another resident named Mittens.)
Carey hopes to secure the number-one spot in her human’s heart. She is a sweet gal who consistently goes for the gold in the “wannabe lapdog” event. Carey excels at individual sports and may do best in a home without other dogs. She could also use some coaching on basic commands.
