The pets-of-the-week are from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center. Each Saturday the Radford News Journal features a dog and cat from the facility available for adoption. Ninny, nine-months-old, came to the Animal Care and Adoption Center in August. He was very shy and a little grumpy on arrival but has since come out of his shell. He’s a laid back, loving cat. This brown Tabby appears to get along with other cats. He is curious and likes to sit with humans and see what they are doing. Ninny is neutered, vaccinated, and litter box trained.Luna, almost two, was surrendered because her owner was ill and could no longer care for her and hoped the Animal Care and Adoption Center could find her a new loving home. Luna enjoys exploring her surroundings and following other cats around trying to engage them in conversation or play. She is spayed, vaccinated, and litter box trained.
