A Packard Car Club recently came to Radford for what they dubbed the Mary Draper Ingles Tour. They visited the MDI statue in the Cultural Heritage Park below Glencoe, watched the Mary Draper Ingles video at the Radford Visitors Center located in Glencoe and Col. Lewis “Bud” Jeffries, a direct Ingles descendant, gave a Mary Draper Ingles presentation before the car club drove to visit the Ingles obelisk at Westview Cemetery.
