Hazel Roberta Richardson Lawson, 93, of Dublin, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford and retired as a supervisor of the laundry department of St. Alban’s Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Byrd and Maudy Phillips; her husband, Carl William Lawson; and sons Carl David Lawson and Larry Gene Lawson.
Survivors include her sons, Rodger (Sandy) Lawson, Ronald Lawson, and John (Lisa) Lawson; her daughters, Patricia (George) Fox, and Linda (Terry) Lovern; grandchildren Rodger, Lynn, Samantha, Larry, Tina, Jeremy, Darla, Ronnie, Michelle, Courtney, Misty, Shannon and Morgan; 22 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; canine companion Santana; and many other relatives and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, graveside services will be privately held in Hickman Cemetery in Pulaski County.
The family requests that contributions be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church Bus Ministry, 2006 Preston Street, Radford, Va., 24141.
The Lawson family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
