Each year, the Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley dedicates the Fine Arts Center Gallery to Youth Art Month. The exhibit is open to students of all ages from Pulaski, Montgomery, Giles, Wythe and Floyd counties and the City of Radford.

The chosen theme for this year’s celebration was “Biking The New River Trail” which allowed students to put their own imaginations to work, creating images of what they might see on the trail.

This year’s exhibit includes 68 pieces by kindergarten through high school students from the following schools: Check Elementary, Critzer Elementary, Dublin Elementary, Pulaski Elementary, Snowville Elementary, Willis Elementary, Blacksburg Middle School, J. Dalton Intermediate School, Blacksburg High School, Christiansburg High School, Floyd County High School and Pulaski County High School.

This exhibit is open for the public to view now through April 2. A closing reception will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. in the Gallery at 21 West Main St. in Pulaski to give these young artists a chance to show off their artwork and to greet the public.

The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. For more information please contact the Fine Arts Center at 980-7363 or info@facnrv.org
