Lola “Weddie” Yvonne Nofsinger, 74, of Fairlawn, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017 at Cozy Home Haven. Born on Jan. 8, 1943, she was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church and was a retired medical transcriber. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Bertha Bane; and sisters, Ruth Weiss and Lois Stoots.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Reggie Nofsinger; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Melinda Nofsinger of Sevierville, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law, Gwynne and Mark Witt of Willis; grandchildren, Ricky, Skylar and Shy Nofsinger; great grandchildren, Jacob, Josh and Justin; sisters and brother-in- law, Maryann and Bobby Chinault of Belspring and Shirley Simpson of Roanoke; brother and sister-in- law, Jerry and Sherry Bane of Roanoke; several nieces and nephews; and and very special friend, Connie Smith.
The family would like to thank Valorie and her staff and Cozy Home Haven for their gentle care of Weddie.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Pastor Danny Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
The Nofsinger family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
