Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Support Group
The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Support Group for the New River Valley will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 11, in the New River Room (on the main level) of the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
This support group is designed to help IBD patients and their caregivers as an outlet for discussion, education and support. Contact Lisa Chrisman at 540-505-8337.

Double SNAP/EBT at the Christiansburg Farmers’ Market
The Town of Christiansburg and Community Housing Partners have partnered to fund the SNAP-matching program. Farmers and families both benefit when you use SNAP.
Spend $20 to buy tokens at the Farmers’ Market Manager’s booth and choose $40 of fresh farmers’ market goods, including vegetable seedlings to grow your own garden. The market is on Hickock Street Thursday evenings from 3-7 p.m.
