New River Valley Jamboree to present free concert in Bisset Park

The Radford Parks & Recreation Department will offer a free concert in Bisset park at the Gazebo on Tuesday, July 18 from 7-8 p.m. featuring New River Valley Jamboree.


New River Valley Jamboree has performed at many venues in and around The New River Valley such as Marby Mill and Wildwood Farms in beautiful Floyd county. On Thursday nights at Pulaski Senior Center is where many gather for some good old music. New River Valley Jamboree will play a mixture of country, bluegrass, and a few hymns. You will hear old time favorites such as “The Bottle Let Me Down,” “Oh Brother Where Art Thou,” “Seven Spanish Angels,” and “Your Cheating Heart.”

Concerts will be at the Gazebo at Bisset Park and will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy beautiful evening of great entertainment.

In the event of a concert cancellation due to weather, please contact the staff at Radford Parks and Recreation Department at 731-3633 for updated weather cancellations.
