New Mount Olive United Methodist Church men’s head cook Gilbert Meadows cooks up a batch of fish for customers at the church’s fish fry in July. Meadows and his crew will be at it again this Saturday, Sept. 24. New Mount Olive United Methodist Church is located at 309 Russell Ave. in Radford. The men will be frying fish from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Menu prices are $10 for dinners that include two pieces of deep-fried fish, baked beans, coleslaw, rolls, and dessert. Fish sandwiches are $6, and an extra piece of fish is $3. Call-in orders are available by calling the church at 540-639-6425. Delivery is available in the Radford area only, or folks can pick up their orders at the church.
