Dorothy McCoy Nester, 77, of Parrott, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 at her home. Born on July 28, 1941, she was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mary Etta McCoy; son; Irvin Nester; 4 brothers; 5 sisters; and great-grandchildren, Cameron Fitzwater and Isabella Morgan.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and W.G. King of Parrott, Donna Richardson of Dublin, Mary “Cissy” Nester of Parrott, Fredia “Peddie” and Jason Higginbotham of Giles, and Georgia and Richard Martin of Pulaski; son, Paris “Bubby” Albert of Parrott; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sisters, Isabelle Graves and Betty Gravley; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. today, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Memorial services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Teresa Tolbert and Pastor Eddie Dalton officiating.
The Nester family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
