Kathy Ratliff Murdock, 64, of Pulaski, passed away Feb. 22, 2017.
She was a 1970 graduate of Pocahontas High School. In 1973, she received her Nursing Degree from Roanoke Memorial School of Nursing where she became supervisor of the Neuro Intensive Care Unit; and worked in the adolescent unit at St. Albans. She was a Pulaski Moose Lodge member.
She was preceded in death by her son Jameson “Oak” Murdock; parents, Oz and Juanita Ratliff; brothers, Leslie Ratliff and Roscoe O. Ratliff, Jr.; and Little Paul Ratliff.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Shawn Blair of Crossville, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Judy Ratliff and Mary Turner of Sumter, South Carolina; sister in spirit, Diane Ferguson; special friend, Buddy Hiner; and beloved cat Tommie.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with Rev. Jim Walker officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Bainbridge High School, Jr. ROTC, 1301 E. College St., Bainbridge, GA 39819.
Kathy’s family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
