Radford High School took last week’s Class 2 state volleyball championship and dominated the all-state all-star team announced Wednesday. Emma Minnick was named the state player of year, while Karen Adams was named coach of the year.
Minnick, who recently signed to continue her playing career at Charleston Southern, was also the Three Rivers District and Region C player of the year.
She was joined on the first team by teammates, Trinity Adams and Charli Dietz. Jocelyn Midkiff of Giles was also named to the first team. Midkiff’s Giles teammate Madison Williams was named to the second team.
