The Radford Heritage Foundation invites the voters of Radford to meet the candidates for Mayor and City Council on Thursday, March 29, from 5:30-7:30 pm. The event will take place at the Glencoe Mansion, Museum and Gallery located at 600 Unruh Drive in Radford.
The mayoral candidates are David Horton and Keith Marshall. The candidates for City Council are Ted “T.W.” Bess, Jessie Critterton, Naomi Huntington, Michael “Mick” Turk and Jason Vaughn. All candidates will be present to meet with the public and answer questions about the candidates’ vision for Radford.
The General Registrar and Director of Elections Tracy Howard will be at the event with voter registration and absentee ballot applications and sample ballots. He will also answer questions about voting, the election and the ballots.
This event is sponsored by the Radford Heritage Foundation, which seeks to preserve and promote awareness of the heritage and culture of Radford. While at the event, attendees are encouraged to explore the history and culture of Radford. The Radford Heritage Foundation motto is: “The key to the future is through unlocking the past.”
