Blacksburg, Virginia – An Alabama man, William Matthew Carter, 52, was arrested last week for possession of child pornography, a felony, said Blacksburg Police public information officer, John Goad yesterday.
Carter, from Auburn, Alabama was taken before a magistrate and released on a $3500.00 unsecure bond, according to Goad but additional warrants were later obtained by Auburn Alabama Police Department and served by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
Carter is currently being held in Western Regional Jail on no bond awaiting extradition on the Alabama charges.
