Rose Mitchell Lytton, 89, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, Mar. 17, 2026. Born Dec. 3, 1936, she was preceded in death by her parents, Early Edward Mitchell and Allie Mae Mitchell; her first husband, Lee Roy Cox; her second husband, Robert Lee Lytton; and her brothers, Robert Jackson Mitchell, Cooper Mitchell, Jonah Mitchell, Everett Micthell, Jean Mitchell and Clarence Eugene Mitchell.

Survivors include her sons, Lee Roy Cox, Jr., Roger Dale Cox (Katrina), David Nelson Cox and Steven Lynn Cox; sister, Mildred Turpin Mills; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and special friends.

The family received friends Friday, Mar. 20, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford followed by funeral services with Kevin Poston officiating. Burial followed in West View Cemetery in Radford.

Rose’s family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
