 Margaret Dalton Love, 71, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025. She was born in Radford on May 21, 1954, to the late Foster and Geneva Mitchell Williams. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Foster Williams, Jr.
Margaret Dalton Love, 71, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025. She was born in Radford on May 21, 1954, to the late Foster and Geneva Mitchell Williams. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Foster Williams, Jr.
Margaret retired from Federal Mogul Corporation in 2005, after 27-and-a-half years of service. She went back to school and obtained a degree in massage therapy. Margaret loved growing flowers and taking pictures of hummingbirds and butterflies. She loved playing with her dog Sadie and spending time with her many family members she loved so well.
From the first time Margaret and Billy looked into each other’s eyes they knew they were soulmates Their love for each other was never ending. They held hands and spent as much time as possible together. Margaret was the love of Billy’s life.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Billy Love; stepdaughter, Amanda Love; sisters, Carol Bohemler (Brad) and Sharon Glenn (Andrew); brother, George Williams; mother-in-law, Jean Love (Henry Dickens); brother-in-law, Mike Love; sisters-in-law, Janice Love, Judy Love (Scott), Lisa Love (Elliott) and Helen Williams; grandchildren, David Heart Lamb, Jr. cousins, Gary Harper (Cindy), Sharon Harper and Steven Harper; nephews and nieces, David Williams (Lynn) Donnie Williams (Diana), Melanie Williams (Leonard), Richard Williams (Kerri), Greg Williams (Amber), Anita Williams (Richie), Brad Phillips, Stephanie Bohemler, David Coward, Christopher Love, Nathan Love, James Love, Victoria Love, Amber Layne, Heather Layne, Steven Layne and Jeremy Layne; great-nieces and nephews, Crystal Knisley (Jacob), Michael Leonard (Michaela), Brandon Williams (Bethany), Jarrett Williams, Hallie Williams, Evi Williams, Kyler Williams, Logan Williams, Nathan Knisley, Xena Knisley, Kingston Knisley, Avatyn Williams, Sawyer Meadows and Gage Meadows.
Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at 3 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Turner officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 p.m. before the service.
