Darel Lynwood Long, of Blacksburg, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 28, 1966, to the late Drexil Long and Phyllis Thomas Long. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Marie Long, Frederick and Sarah Thomas, and his beloved pet “Jen.” Darel graduated from Blacksburg High School Class of 1984. He is survived by his brother, David W. Long (Jill), and nephew, Tanner Long.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024, at Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Albert officiating.
