Among the 370 cadets receiving Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from Virginia Military Institute in its May 16 commencement ceremony was Zachary L. Clark of Radford, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science.
Achieving success in athletics and academics, Zachary was a 4-year NCAA Division 1 swimmer for the VMI Keydets and served as a captain his first class year.
During his cadetship he was a member of VMI’s Dean’s List, was Academic All-Conference and selected for Kappa Alpha.
“His family is very proud, but not surprised by his accomplishments. He is a fine young man of upstanding character and we look forward to the next chapter in his life,” his parents, Timothy and Dianne Clark, said.
