Blacksburg’s Allen Briggs named to RIT’s dean’s list
Allen Briggs of Blacksburg (24060) was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. Briggs is in the game design and development program.
Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Founded in 1829, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) enrolls about 19,700 students in more than 200 career-oriented and professional programs, making it among the largest private universities in the U.S.
Radford’s Laney Cline named to EMU dean’s list
Laney Cline of Radford was named to the Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) Fall 2022 dean’s list. Cline is majoring in accounting, business administration, and business analytics.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 30 credit hours.

Cole Eastwood of Blacksburg named to fall dean’s list at Nebraska
Cole Eastwood of Blacksburg has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year.
A freshman majoring in sports media and communication, Eastwood was named to the deans’ list for the College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
Qualification for the dean’s list varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum number of graded semester hours.
