Linda Waggaman and Deborah Ring, both of Radford, were winners of the Radford Photo Club August competition. Waggaman won the “Nighttime in the City” challenge with a photo taken from the boat marina in Dubai. Ring won the open category with a photo of a red-eyed tree frog taken in Costa Rica. The photo club meets monthly, usually on the third Thursday at 6 p.m. Meetings have been at Bisset Park through the summer but will move indoors in September.
