Curious about bees or bee-keeping? Join us for this free program at the library, and learn the basics about bees and bee-keeping. Dinner and a Book, Wednesday
5 p.m. Radford Library. Sponsored by RCPS and the Summer Food Program, any child can eat dinner for free at our weekly programs. The whole family welcome – each week a family-friendly selection will be read aloud while you enjoy dinner. Kids eat free, and are served first; adults can eat if supplies last, for $3 – cash or check only, made out to RCPS Cafeteria. Program will run every Wednesday June 14 through August 2.
Flocking and Fractals, July 24

Read by Design Club, July 27
All ages are welcome for this monthly club (last Thursday in June and July). We will do hands-on activities inspired by favorite books. In July, we will make light-up poems using copper tape and LEDs, inspired by your favorite book or character. Come with your favorite story fresh in your mind!
