Katrinia Dawnetta Bassett Thompson, 35, passed away at her home in Radford on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021. She was a server at Cracker Barrel for over 16 years and loved video gaming and reading.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harmon and Zola Linkous; her paternal grandparents, William and Florence Bassett; and her aunt, Karen Bassett Wilson.
Katrinia is survived by her parents, Michael and Linda Bassett; her brother, Michael Anthony Bassett, Jr.; aunt, Ann Linkous and Rebecca Clinton (Kenny); uncles Steve Bassett (Mary), Bill Bassett, and Rick Bassett, her best friend, Ashley Underwood; her loving cat, Meepy; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford.
