Virginia Mae Jarels, 83, of Christiansburg died, Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018. She was born in West Virginia on March 28, 1935 to the late Lorenzo Dow and Anna Bell Campbell Williston. She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Garry Willard; sons, Kerrey Lee Valle, Roger Surratt; sisters, Dorothy Robinson, Donna Smith; brothers, James Williston, Dow Williston, Jr., Charles Williston; eleven grandchildren; as well as numerous great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Shepherd officiating. Interment followed in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family received prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg.
