James “Jay” Ward Webb, 78, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021, at his home in Dublin.
He was a U. S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver with Overnite/UPS for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Miller and Reba Webb; his first wife, Sharon Pitts Webb; and a sister and brother-in-law, Marvin and Mary E. McCoy.
Survivors include his children, Gregory (Vikki) Branscome, Christopher (Jill) Webb, Amy Webb, and Randall (Jessica) Webb; grandchildren Bailey, Layna, Lizzy, Emily, and Grace; lifelong friends Sonny and John Smith; and many friends.
Memorial graveside services with full military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
The Webb family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
