The New River Resource Authority’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program is being held monthly at the NRRA Facility (7100 Cloyds Mountain Rd) in Dublin, the landfill.
Collecting hazardous waste separately, like efforts on these days, keeps waste like pain and solvents and antifreeze out of the landfill.
This event for households, not businesses, is held every second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. rain or shine.
The announcement requests that households save all of the hazardous waste all month and bring it to the NRRA.
