Beatrice Ann Sarver Hypes (Bea Ann), 84, of Blacksburg, went to be with the lord on Feb. 5, 2023.
She was born in Maybrook, Va., on Aug. 25, 1938, to the late Prentice L. Sarver and Virginia Isabel Carbaugh Sarver.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia L. Turner and Kimberly H. Scheuerman (Jim), and her grand dog, Baxter. Bea Ann graduated in 1956 from Newport High School and then worked at Poly Scientific for 45 years.
She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and visiting with her friends and family, especially her girls. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg.
