Flossie Louise Trump Hutchins, 79, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at her home in Pilot. She was a member of Huffville United Methodist Church and retired from Radford Army Ammunitions Plant. Born on June 21, 1940, she was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Ethel Mae Wirt Trump; sister, Ruby Marie Sowers; and sisters-in-law, Margie Beatrice Linkous and Peggy Connor Trump.
Survivors include her husband of almost 55 years, John G. Hutchins; sons and daughters-in-law, Lewis Wayne and Victoria Trump of Floyd, Timothy Allen and Debbie Trump of Blacksburg, and Michael Anthony Trump of Christiansburg; daughter and her friend, Lora Ann McKenzie and Clayton Colley of Christiansburg; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; brother, Charlie William Trump of Pilot; brother-in-law, Joe Sowers of Pilot; sisters-in-law, Ida Shupe of Clayton , N.C., Ella Ruth Hutchins of Christiansburg and Wanda Trump of Pilot; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. today, Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Darren Landon officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Huffville UM Church, 1078 Huffville Rd., Pilot, VA 24138.
