Virginia “Jenny” Rae Colbert Huddle, 79, of Belspring, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023.
She attended Radford University, graduating with her degree in Education. Jenny was a member of Belspring United Methodist Church for over 50 years, as well as a teacher in the Pulaski County Public School system for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Anthony and Barbara Hawkins Colbert; her son, Jason Andrew Huddle; brothers, Gary, Phillip and Tony Colbert; and her sisters, Jo Richardson and Bobbie Cunningham.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, David Crockett Huddle; sons and daughter-in-law, Scott (Lynnette) Huddle and Nick Huddle; grandchildren, Max, Erin and Logan; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy (Dan) Lawton; sister-in-law, Terry Colbert; brothers-in-law, Keith Cunningham and Don Richardson; and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends 12 – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rachel Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Cemetery in Belspring.
