Alta Mae Graham Hopkins, 105, of Radford, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of Tuesday, October 8, 2019. She passed peacefully at her home. Born August 24, 1914, she was a lifelong resident of Radford and lived the majority of her life on the same block. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Radford, Va., for 95 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Malcolm Andrew Hopkins; her parents, Walter Alvin Graham and Bessie Covey Graham.
She is survived by twin daughters, Jane Smith (Alvin) of Radford and Elaine Morgan (Scott) of Greenville, N. C.; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Dawn Edson (Steve) of Colville, Wash., Molly Smith Entrekin (Kevin) of Radford, Patrick Scott Morgan of Redlands, Calif. And Patricia Morgan Greechan (James) of San Diego, Calif.; six great grandchildren, Erin Bender (Jonathan), Aliea Jo Newell, Andrew, Paisley, and Chip Entrekin, and Jameson Greechan; other special relatives Michael Keller of Richmond, Va., Walt Graham of Keezletown, Va. and Sharon Miller of Christiansburg, Va.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Radford. Funeral services began at 12 p.m. with Pastor Timothy Worles officiating. Interment followed at West View Cemetery in Radford.
The Hopkins family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory.
