Virginia Tech’s win over the University of Virginia propelled them to their sixth win of the season and will go bowling on Dec. 27 in the Military Bowl against Tulane.
The announcement was made Sunday night.
Virginia Tech football will play in the Military Bowl against Tulane Wednesday Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. ET in Annapolis, Md. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, marking Tech’s 35th all-time bowl berth.
The Hokies (6-6, 5-3 ACC) and Tulane (11-2, 8-1 AAC) have faced each other before, with the most recent contest taking place in 1989 in favor of the Hokies, 30-13. Tech narrowly leads the all-time series 5-4.
Ticket reservations for the Military Bowl will be made available Sunday evening exclusively for Hokie Scholarship Fund donors as of March 1, 2023. The deadline for donors to complete their ticket reservation is this Tuesday at noon ET. Following the deadline, tickets will be allocated based on priority point ranking with the top three membership levels receiving guaranteed access to tickets.
