Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley and offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw were taken in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft Friday night in Cleveland.
Farley went to the Tennessee Titans with the 22nd pick. Right behind him, Darrisaw was claimed by the Minnesota Vikings with the 23rd pick.
Hokie safety Divine Deablo went to the Las Vegas Raiders in the third round as the 80th pick.
In all, 25 players from the ACC were drafted in the first three rounds.
The first overall player taken in the draft was Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
Notre Dame led with five players drafted. Clemson had four players selected; North Carolina had three. Miami and Syracuse each had two players taken in the first three rounds while FSU, Louisville, Wake Forest, N.C. State, Boston College and Pitt each had one player draft.
