(Washington D.C.) — The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) and Citizens Cooperative have launched a carriage agreement that brings Virginia Tech basketball and Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles baseball to thousands of households in Southwest Virginia.
The service launched Monday, Feb. 1.
MASN is the home of Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles baseball and televises every available game live and in HD – more than 300 major league baseball events each year – as well as the exclusive pre- and post-game shows, Nats Xtra and O’s Xtra.
MASN also carries over 175 NCAA football and basketball games, including the Virginia Tech Hokies, nationally ranked teams and regional favorites.
“MASN has been a top requested network for some time from our subscribers,” said Lori Saltus, Executive Vice President of Customer Relations and Marketing at Citizens. “We are happy to answer the request of our customers by adding MASN and MASN2.”
Upcoming Hokies basketball games on MASN include:

MASN and MASN 2 will be carried on channels 168 and 169 on Citizens’ Signature and Crest packages.
To make MASN’s programming even easier for fans to receive, MASN will launch an app to stream the network on their smartphone, tablet, or home computer.
MASN features the ACC sports package with every team in the conference including football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, field hockey and volleyball, the first two rounds and quarterfinals of the ACC women’s basketball tournament and four rounds of the ACC baseball tournament.
