Alfred Lee Franklin Heslep, 86, of Christiansburg passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024. Born Feb. 26, 1938, he was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Zenith Huffman Heslep; wife, Barbara Davis Heslep.
He is survived by his children, Barry Heslep, Stephanie Davis, Chris Heslep, and Tim Heslep; brother and sister-in-law, Maynard and Gail Martin Heslep; sisters, Joan Heslep, and Shirley Moon; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Alfred was a retired Army Sergeant and worked for the Town of Christiansburg. He was a very hard worker his entire life. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the care they provided for Alfred.
Visitation was Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services followed in the Chapel. Interment followed in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
