First responders from throughout the New River Valley joined together at the Harkrader Sports Complex in Christiansburg for a softball game Saturday to help raise funds for Special Olympics. Firefighters and EMS made up the Hoses while police officers were on the Guns team. When the dust cleared, the Hoses, pictured above, pulled out the win in extra innings.
