Matthew Scott Graham, lovely known as Scottie, 54, of Newport, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at his home.
He was born in Radford July 8, 1971. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Ellen Jones Graham, and brother, Timothy Graham. Scottie was devoted to his family as a husband, father, and grandfather (Paw Paw Scoot). Scottie was a very avid outdoorsman, and he loved being in the woods, especially with his family. He was always there to lend a hand to whoever needed it.
He is survived by his wife, Donna C. Graham, father; Harry Kawood Graham; sons, Lucas and Deidre Graham; grandchildren, Bryson Jennings Graham and Skyler Nicole Graham; sister, Tina Graham Carroll; brothers and sister-in-law, Ford Graham (Pam) and Michael Graham; numerous other family members; and special friends, Shaun Duncan and Rex Shelor.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Level Green Christian Church Cemetery, Newport. The family will receive friends 12- 2 p.m. prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
