Literacy NRV’s GED YOUR WAY program offers individualized in-person or online instruction. In-person instruction is provided at convenient locations throughout the New River Valley on days and times that are customized to fit the student’s schedule. If an individual prefers online instruction and does not have access to a computer, Literacy NRV offers a Chromebook loaner program. Program enrollment and testing is confidential and free.
To register for Literacy NRV’s GED YOUR WAY program, adults should complete a student application, available at www.lvnrv.org/programs and attend a new student orientation to take a reading test.
GED YOUR WAY curriculum includes instruction in reading, writing, and math based on a student’s strengths and weaknesses. The GED consists of four subject tests. More information about the GED exam is available at www.ged.com.
