RADFORD – Folk singer Maggie Blankenship will headline the second and final installment of West End
Wednesdays for the 2021 season Wednesday, Aug. 11, on the grounds of Glencoe Mansion, Museum, and
Gallery.
Blankenship will perform live from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in a free, family-friendly concert. Cabo Fish Taco,
desserts with Elsie’s Eatz and Afternoon Delight Cookies and Cake, and craft beers will provide the
refreshments for the night. Free community yoga with Downey Dog Yoga, the Mountain Trails
photography exhibit inside Glencoe, and a variety of vendors from which to purchase local crafts and
products will round out the fun.
Blankenship is a folk-inspired singer and guitar player who plays a combination of original and cover
tunes.
“Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, or pull up a piece of shady grass. Bring your favorite game, relax, and
enjoy,” says MountainTrotter Arts, organizer of the events.
West End Wednesdays are dog friendly. No outside alcohol is allowed, and ID is required for all alcohol
purchases.
