The Floyd Center for the Arts announces an open exhibition on the theme of Spring Time. All artists, community members and organizations are welcome to submit work in any medium(s). Applications due by Friday, March 9, 2018
“As long winter nights are quickly replaced by lengthening days, thoughts often turn toward warmer weather and new growth, but there are other meanings to the words Spring and Time, too,” the press release said. “We encourage you to interpret these words in your own way, whether a traditional interpretation of the changing season or a very literal exploration of the word(s) Spring and/or Time, expressed in any mediums, we ask you, “From flowers to Slinkys, what does Spring Time mean to you?”
Go to www.FloydArtCenter.org to apply or call the Center or email, 540-745-2784, gallery@floydartcenter.org. Artist will submit digital images. The Center’s Gallery Committee will review and select entries for the exhibition.
