Local Five-Star 9-and-under travel baseball team from the New River Valley took the USSSA Spring State WarmUp Championship this past week at the Botetourt Sports Complex. The Five Star squad outscored its opponents 21 to 9. This is their second tournament championship of the year and overall 10th as a 9U team.
