Edith Altizer Vires, 79, of Riner, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021.
She was retired from the Radford Army Ammunitions Plant.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Oakley Lonnie and Edna Teel Altizer; her husband, Eddie Wayne Vires; andher sons, Eddie Dewayne Vires and Michael Wayne Vires.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Eddie Azbell and Kathy and Delane Carico; grandchildren Tonya (Jessie) Hinkley, April Azbell, Kevin Azbell, Travis Vires, Carrie Vires, Audrey Vires, and Justin Carico; and many other relatives and friends.
The family received friends on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, followed by memorial services with the Rev. Gregory Harrell.
The Vires family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory.
