Eastern Montgomery High School has a new athletic director, and she is familiar to the school’s fan base.
Kelley Sutphin, who had served as the school’s girls basketball coach twice in the past 10 years, replaces the retiring Kirk Lytton.
She had served the past eight years as a physical education teacher at Eastern Montgomery Elementary School.
In addition, soccer coach Whitney Shaver will have a new role starting this fall. She has been named Eastern Montgomery’s volleyball coach and will lead both squads this year.
