Julia Ann Poff Easter, 76, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at her home in Dublin. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and retired from MOOG Components of Blacksburg. Born on May 21, 1943, Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Angie Poff; and her husband, Floyd James Easter, Sr.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Laura Easter of Dublin; daughter and her spouse, Lisa Edwards and Misty Bowling of Richmond; grandchildren, Kenny Edwards, Jessie Henwood, Ashley Easter, Katie Easter and fiancé, Blake Smith, and Gabe Walker; great grandchildren, Jaxson, Lilliana and Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Larry Albert of Parrott; brother, Johnny Poff of Staffordsville; sisterhood, Evelyn Pannel, Bonnie Wood, Shirley Wheeler and Shirley Jenkins; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and very special extended family including Kelvin May and Debbie Rose.
The family will receive friends from 12 until 1: 30 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Ersell Alderman officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford.
