Sally Anne Duncan, 81, of Christiansburg, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023.
She retired from Hubble Lighting after 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, William McKinley Sutphin; her mother, Mary Etta Spaulding Sutphin; a sister, Martha Ellen Sutphin; brothers Grover Lee Sutphin, James Edgar Sutphin, and Carl Henry Sutphin; a grandson, Michael Scott Snider; a granddaughter, Chelsea Anne Snider; a daughter, Nancy Marie Snider; and her ex-husband and best friend, Curtis McKinley Snider, Sr.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Becky Loretta Akers and husband Wayne, of Riner, Patricia Mae Snider Koran and husband Gary of Roanoke, Linda Sue Snider of Willis, Curtis McKinley Snider, Jr., of Colorado, Russell Steven Snider of Christiansburg, and Connie Anne Snider Widner and husband, Ricky, of Christiansburg; a sister, Ethel Mae Sutphin Fizer; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of nurses and CNA’s at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Dr. Nicholas L. Karo MD.
Services will be private.
The Duncan family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
