Marleen Davis Fisher Cox, 77, of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025. Born August 6, 1947, she was preceded in death by her parents Alvin B. Davis and Margaret E. Jones; along with several siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Teresa Fisher Taylor (Donald); son, Jeff Caldwell; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Smith, Martha Alderman, Gladys Lorene Cooper, and Erma Whitlock.
Marleen was a lifelong resident of the New River Valley. She worked as a CNA for many years at Meadowbrook and Richfield. She enjoyed reading, bingo and word search puzzles. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 10, 2025 1- 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. in Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
