Radford City councilmen Keith Marshall and Michael Turk sat down Friday April 14th for a two-hour lunch and work session with US Congressman Morgan Griffith. Topics of the discussion included potential development ideas and business recruitment for the City of Radford, focusing specifically on the old foundry site. Discussions also covered the rising costs of health insurance and its burdens on Radford City, small businesses within the city , and Radford City residents. Marshall and Turk advocated for Radford City, who has endured an over 47 percent increase in employee health insurance costs in the last seven years.
